Post hole digger ATLAS Jumbo no. 1, complete with ash wood ATLAS handles of length 150 cm, equipped with red lacquered, hardened steel blades and an adjustment chain, total length 220 cm, suitable for digging holes with a diameter of 110 to 280 mm. The dimensions of the blades are: 210 mm high x 150 mm wide at the top of the blade x 110 mm wide at the bottom of the blade.
The hardened steel, hollow-shaped blades can be pushed into various soil types to make holes. The blades are inserted into the ground. By moving the handles apart, the blades grip the soil. The adjustment chain can be used to set the desired width. The adjustment chain also acts as a lock during transport or storage.
The ash wood shafts of the ATLAS post hole digger are fitted with a milled-end slot. This slot fits precisely over the steel rib on the inside of the socket. Thanks to this brass-groove connection, the shafts remain firmly secured and do not rotate during use.
