Club hammer handle ATLAS of ash wood for a 1500-gram club hammer or stoning hammer, with head size 20 x 33.5 mm and length 26 cm. Produced according to DIN 5135 and suitable for club hammers or stoning hammers with DIN 6475.

Because of the oval shape of the handle, the hammer head is always in the correct striking direction. For mounting the handle a metal hammer wedge no. 4 with article number 651445 is recommended.

ATLAS club hammer handles are made from ash wood butt logs, which contain the best wood. Ash wood is tough, shock-absorbing and strong. The ash wood undergoes two drying processes: during the first drying process sawn ash wood planks are air-dried. During the second process the ash wood is re-dried in a climate chamber under computer control. Because of the re-drying the handle does not shrink and the hammer head remains firmly fixed to the handle.

Subsequently the ATLAS handle is waxed with plant-based Carnauba. This ensures the wood can breathe, does not absorb water or dirt and retains its attractive natural colour. Waxing provides a longer service life and a pleasant smooth handle, preventing blisters. Moreover, plant-based waxing of handles is better for the environment than the use of varnish or paraffin.

ATLAS club hammer handles are manufactured entirely energy-neutral in the Netherlands and are available in various lengths and configurations.
