Concrete shovel ATLAS with socket position 1/2 bent upwards, blade size 0 and straight edge. Complete with a bent handle in length 130 cm. The red lacquered blade is extra hardened.
Thanks to the straight front of this concrete shovel, it is ideal for leveling or evenly scraping a sand bed or trench.
Explanation of socket setting
The socket angle indicates the angle relative to the blade. The higher the socket angle, the more inclined the socket. This determines whether a shovel or spade is designed for thrusting or for scooping. The socket angle is measured from the ground to the socket when the blade lies flat on the ground.
Straight: the handle is almost straight on the blade.
1/4: the socket is bent 35 mm, for example for digging shovels
1/2: the socket is bent up 55 mm, for example for scoop shovels and concrete shovels
3/4: the socket is bent up 70 cm, for example on scoop shovels and deep shovels
Explanation of blade width
In the past there were blade widths that ran from number 2 down to 0, with 2 being the largest. Over time the blades had to be made smaller due to working conditions, and smaller sizes were introduced.
