Manure fork handle or tine handle ATLAS of ash wood, bent model with a length of 95 cm, provided with a spring ferrule, a drilled hole and a T-grip. Suitable for forks with a pin connection.
ATLAS fork handles are made from ash rootstocks, which contain the best wood. Ash wood is tough, shock-absorbing and strong. The ash undergoes two drying processes: during the first drying process sawn ash planks are air-dried. During the second process the ash is computer-controlled re-dried in a climate chamber. By re-drying the handle does not shrink, tools remain firmly attached to the handle.
Next the ATLAS handle is waxed with plant-based Carnauba. This ensures that the wood can breathe, does not absorb water or dirt and retains its beautiful natural colour. Waxing provides a longer lifespan and a pleasant smooth handle, preventing blisters. Moreover, plant-based waxing of handles is better for the environment than the use of varnish or paraffin.
ATLAS manure fork handles are manufactured entirely energy-neutral in the Netherlands and are available in various lengths and versions.
