Spade handle ATLAS plastic 79.5 cm milled end, with fiber core 21 mm and plastic D-handle
Spade handle ATLAS made of plastic in the color yellow, straight D-handle with a length of 79.5 cm, fitted with a fiber core, a plastic grip, and a milled, smooth, narrow end, suitable for a Spear & Jackson spade or Atlas gooseneck spade. This handle has virtually the same length as an original Spear & Jackson spade handle. For mounting a 40 mm rivet is recommended (article number 651590, including mounting advice).
The ATLAS plastic shovel handle, thanks to its 21 mm thick glass-fiber reinforcement, can withstand extremely heavy work and is virtually unbreakable. The strong plastic protects the fiber core from damage (damaged glass fiber has hundreds of protruding fibers; these can cause wounds that may become infected). The handle is not completely rigid, but has a certain, desirable degree of springiness. The plastic D-grip provides a good hold.
Because this handle is so strong (stronger than the blade), no warranty is given for the mounted blade in the event of breakage.
