T-stiel ATLAS gerade für Spatengabel Boskoop, Länge 80 cm

Digging fork handle or spade handle ATLAS, straight handle with a length of 80 cm, with a strong through-mount T-grip. This handle is suitable for various digging forks and for the De Wit boorspade with article number 810400. Two rivets are required for the assembly (see article number 651620, also for the assembly advice).

ATLAS digging fork handles are made from ash rootstocks, which contain the best wood. Ash wood is tough, shock-absorbing and strong. The ash wood undergoes two drying processes: during the first drying process sawn ash wood boards are air-dried. During the second process the ash wood is re-dried in a climate chamber under computer control. Because of the re-drying the handle does not shrink, tools remain firmly attached to the handle and the through-mount T-grip can be pressed onto the handle without glue or a staple.

Next the ATLAS handle is waxed with plant-based Carnauba. This ensures that the wood can breathe, does not absorb water or dirt and retains its beautiful natural color. Waxing provides a longer service life and a pleasant smooth handle, which prevents blisters. Moreover, plant-based waxing of handles is better for the environment than using varnish or paraffin.
