Claw hammer handle ATLAS hickory 13" - 33 cm, head size 15 x 30 mm
Claw hammer handle ATLAS made of hickory wood, with head size 30 x 15 mm and length 13” (approx. 33 cm). Due to the oval shape of the handle the hammer head is always in the correct striking orientation. For mounting the handle two metal hammer wedges no. 3 with article number 651425 are recommended.
Hickory is a heavy and hard American wood species that is even stronger than ash wood. Hickory wood is particularly tough, shock-resistant and resilient. The ATLAS hickory handle is also waxed with plant-based Carnauba. This ensures the wood can breathe, does not absorb water or dirt and retains its beautiful natural colour. The waxing provides a longer service life and a pleasant smooth handle, which prevents blisters. Moreover, plant-based waxing of handles is better for the environment than using varnish or paraffin.
ATLAS hickory claw hammer handles are, for the most part, manufactured energy-neutrally in the Netherlands.
