Handle ATLAS 130 x 4.0 cm, for sheet-steel snow pusher
ATLAS snow shovel handle made of ash wood, straight model, length 130 cm and diameter 4.0 cm. This handle fits the straight snow shovel, Silt scraper or manure scraper ATLAS made of sheet steel (article numbers 960400 and 960405).
ATLAS concrete scraper handles are made from ash rootstocks, which contain the best wood. Ash wood is tough, shock-resistant and strong. The ash wood undergoes two drying processes: during the first drying process sawn ash wood planks are air-dried. During the second process the ash wood is re-dried in a computer-controlled climate chamber. By re-drying the tool stays firmly attached to the handle.
Subsequently the ATLAS handle is waxed with plant-based carnauba. This ensures the wood can breathe, does not absorb water or dirt and retains its beautiful natural color. The waxing provides a longer service life and a pleasant smooth handle, which helps prevent blisters. Moreover, waxing handles with a plant-based wax is better for the environment than using varnish or paraffin.
ATLAS concrete scraper handles are manufactured entirely energy-neutral in the Netherlands.
