The aluminium blade is extra hardened by adding manganese, which prevents premature wear on the underside and sides. In addition, the grain shovel is equipped with a sturdy aluminium wear strip, which reduces wear on the front of the blade.
ATLAS grain shovels are very strong, lightweight and ideal for scooping large, light volumes.
ATLAS PD-handles are made from ash wood rootstocks, which contain the best wood. Ash wood is tough, shock-absorbing and strong. The ash wood undergoes two drying processes. Because of the re-drying the handle does not shrink, and tools remain firmly attached to the handle.
Finally, the ATLAS handle is waxed with plant-based Carnauba. This ensures that the wood can breathe, does not absorb water or dirt, and retains its beautiful natural finish.
