Gooseneck shovel handle ATLAS 110 cm extra double-bent, with through-mount T-grip
Gooseneck shovel handle ATLAS made from ash wood, EXTRA double-bent T-handle in length 110 cm, with strong through-mount T-grip. Also called Gooseneck paving T-handle or swan-neck handle. Gooseneck shovel handles are recognizable by the thickened lower part of the handle. The thickened lower part makes the handle extra strong and ensures a secure grip. Thanks to the extra double-bent S-shape the handle rises nicely while the flat shovel or concrete shovel lies flat on the sand. This ATLAS extra double-bent gooseneck shovel handle is mostly used in the infra and paving sector together with a concrete shovel, flat shovel, digging shovel or a scoop shovel.
ATLAS gooseneck shovel handles are made from ash wood rootstocks, which contain the best timber. Ash wood is tough, shock-absorbing and strong. The ash wood undergoes two drying processes: during the first drying process sawn ash wood planks are air-dried. During the second process the ash wood is computer-controlled re-dried in a climate chamber. By re-drying the handle does not shrink, tools remain firmly attached to the handle and the through-mount T-grip can be pressed onto the handle without glue or staples.
Subsequently the ATLAS handle is waxed with the plant-based Carnauba. This ensures that the wood can breathe, does not absorb water or dirt and retains its beautiful natural color. Waxing provides a longer service life and a pleasant smooth handle, preventing blisters. Moreover, plant-based waxing of handles is better for the environment than the use of varnish or paraffin.
ATLAS gooseneck shovel handles are manufactured entirely energy-neutral in the Netherlands and are available in various lengths and versions.
