Small planting spades

A planting trowel, also called a garden trowel or flower trowel, is useful for planting work in ornamental gardens, vegetable gardens, and flower pots. You use it for transplanting, filling pots, and planting flower bulbs in loose soil. The small blade lets you work precisely in borders and planters. For larger scooping work, see the shovels and spades.
