Concrete shovel with hardened blade and bent Atlas shovel handle in 110 cm length
ATLAS concrete shovel with 1/2 socket and blade size 0. Made of hardened, plain lacquered steel. Complete with a bent ATLAS shovel handle in 100 cm length, fitted with a through-mount T-grip.
Thanks to the straight front edge of this concrete shovel, it can be used perfectly for leveling or scraping a sand bed or foundation trench flat.
The ash wood ATLAS shovel handle is made from ash rootstock, which contains the best wood. Ash wood is tough, shock-absorbing, and strong. The ash wood is machine-controlled re-dried in a climate chamber. This prevents the handle from shrinking, keeps the tool firmly attached to the handle, and allows the through-mount T-grip to be pressed onto the handle without glue or a staple.
ATLAS handles are bent in boiling water. This allows the wood grain in the handle to follow the curve and prevents the grain from running out of the handle. The bending process makes the handle extremely strong. In addition, the ATLAS handle is waxed with the plant-based Carnauba, which provides a longer service life and a pleasantly smooth handle, helping prevent blisters.
