Extra Hardened Concrete Shovel with Polished Edge and Round Treads
ATLAS DIAMANT concrete shovel with 1/2 bent socket, blade size 0 and straight edge. Complete with a bent ATLAS shovel handle measuring 110 cm in length, fitted with a through-mount T-grip. The red lacquered blade is extra hardened and has a smooth polished edge. The round treads provide a good grip and prevent footwear from being damaged.
This concrete shovel is often used by pavers, infrastructure companies, and landscapers.
Thanks to the straight front edge of the ATLAS DIAMANT concrete shovel, it is perfect for leveling or scraping a sand bed or trench smooth.
The ATLAS shovel handle is made from ash wood rootstock, which contains the best wood. Ash wood is tough, shock-absorbing, and strong. The ash wood has been computer-controlled re-dried in a climate chamber. As a result, the handle will not shrink, the tool stays firmly attached to the handle, and the through-mount T-grip can be pressed onto the handle without glue or a staple.
ATLAS shovel handles are bent in boiling water. This allows the wood grain or fiber in the handle to bend along with it and prevents the grain from running out of the handle. The bending process makes the handle extremely strong. In addition, the ATLAS handle is waxed with the plant-based Carnauba wax, which provides a longer service life and a pleasantly smooth handle, helping to prevent blisters.
