Strong ATLAS T-handle for a Bitumen Scraper or Concrete Scraper
ATLAS handle made of ash wood, rectangular model, 100 cm long, equipped with a strong through-mount T-grip. This handle is suitable for a Bitumen Scraper, Concrete Scraper or Formwork Scraper in widths of 15 cm, 30 cm or 50 cm.
ATLAS Bitumen Scraper handles are made from ash rootstock, which contains the best wood. Ash wood is tough, shock-resistant and strong. The ash wood undergoes two drying processes: during the first drying process, sawn ash wood boards are air-dried. During the second process, the ash wood is re-dried under computer control in a climate chamber. Re-drying keeps the tool firmly attached to the handle.
Next, the ATLAS handle is waxed with plant-based Carnauba. This allows the wood to breathe, prevents it from absorbing water or dirt, and helps it retain its beautiful natural color. Waxing provides a longer service life and a pleasantly smooth handle, helping prevent blisters. In addition, plant-based waxing of handles is better for the environment than using varnish or paraffin.
