Manure fork handle or pitchfork handle ATLAS made of ash wood, bent model with a length of 95 cm. Equipped with a ferrule, a drilled hole and a strong through-mount T-grip. Suitable for forks with a tapered socket.
ATLAS fork handles are made from ash wood rootstock, which contains the best wood. Ash wood is tough, shock-absorbing and strong. The ash wood undergoes two drying processes: during the first drying process, sawn ash wood boards are air-dried. During the second process, the ash wood is re-dried in a climate chamber under computer control. Because of this re-drying, the handle does not shrink, tools stay firmly attached to the handle, and the through-mount T-grip can be pressed onto the handle without glue or staples.
The ATLAS handle is then waxed with plant-based Carnauba. This allows the wood to breathe, prevents it from absorbing water or dirt, and preserves its attractive light color. The waxing provides a longer lifespan and a pleasantly smooth handle, helping prevent blisters. In addition, plant-based waxing of handles is better for the environment than using varnish or paraffin.
ATLAS manure fork handles are entirely manufactured in the Netherlands in an energy-neutral way and are available in various lengths and designs.
