Muck fork handle or pitchfork handle ATLAS made of ash wood, bent model with a length of 95 cm, equipped with a ferrule, a drilled hole and a T-grip. Suitable for forks with a tang connection.
ATLAS fork handles are made from ash rootstock, which contains the best wood. Ash wood is tough, shock-absorbing and strong. The ash wood undergoes two drying processes: during the first drying process, sawn ash wood boards are air-dried. During the second process, the ash wood is computer-controlled re-dried in a climate chamber. Because of this re-drying, the handle does not shrink, and tools stay firmly attached to the handle.
The ATLAS handle is then waxed with the plant-based Carnauba. This allows the wood to breathe, prevents it from absorbing water or dirt, and preserves its beautiful light color. Waxing provides a longer lifespan and a pleasantly smooth handle, helping prevent blisters. In addition, plant-based waxing of handles is better for the environment than using varnish or paraffin.
ATLAS muck fork handles are manufactured entirely energy-neutral in the Netherlands and are available in various lengths and versions.
