Hardwood ATLAS Lead Mallet for roofers.

ATLAS mallet made of Azobé hardwood. The specific gravity of the hardwood gives the mallet sufficient weight to work with.

Unlike a zinc hammer, a lead hammer has a rounded face. The rounded shape prevents damage to the soft lead. The ATLAS Lead Hammer is often used in construction and in the roofing industry.

The round bent shape of the lead mallet is indispensable when forming sheet lead. A lead mallet is used to set sheet lead, to work the sheet lead, or to beat it into the correct shape.

The round striking face concentrates the force on the desired spot and does not leave sharp "hammer edges" on the soft lead. This also ensures deep-set curves are formed cleanly.
