Thanks to the straight front of this concrete shovel, it can be used perfectly for leveling or for scooping off a sand bed or trench.
The ash wood ATLAS shovel handle is made from ash rootstocks, which contain the best wood. Ash wood is tough, shock-absorbing, and strong. The ash wood has been re-dried in a climate chamber under computer control. This prevents the handle from shrinking, keeps the tool firmly attached to the handle, and allows the through-mount T-grip to be pressed onto the handle without glue or a staple.
ATLAS handles are bent in boiling water. This makes the wood grain follow the bend and prevents the grain from pulling out of the handle. The bending process makes the handle extremely strong. In addition, the ATLAS handle is waxed with plant-based Carnauba, which ensures a longer lifespan and a pleasant, smooth handle, preventing blisters.
