The red lacquered blade is extra hardened and has a smoothly polished cutting edge. The round treads provide good traction and prevent footwear from being damaged.

Thanks to the straight front of the ATLAS DIAMANT concrete shovel, it can be used perfectly for leveling or flat scraping of a sand bed or trench. Because of the double-bent handle the blade lies flat on the ground. This reduces the need to bend over and results in a more ergonomic working position.
The double-bent ATLAS gooseneck shovel handle is made from ash wood butt sections, which contain the best wood. Ash wood is tough, shock-absorbing and strong. The ash wood has been re-dried in a climate-controlled chamber by computer. As a result, the handle does not shrink, tools stay firmly attached to the handle and the through-mount T-grip can be pressed onto the handle without glue or staples.
ATLAS gooseneck shovel handles are waxed with plant-based Carnauba, which provides a longer lifespan and a pleasant smooth handle, preventing blisters.
