Red concrete shovel with polished edge and round treads
ATLAS DIAMANT concrete shovel with 1/2 scoop curvature, blade size 0 and straight edge. Complete with a bent ATLAS shovel handle, 100 cm long, fitted with a through-mount T-grip. The red-lacquered blade is extra hardened and has a smooth polished edge. The round treads provide a good grip and prevent footwear from being damaged.
This concrete shovel is often used by pavers, infrastructure companies and landscapers.
Thanks to the straight front of the ATLAS DIAMANT concrete shovel, it can be perfectly used for leveling or flat scooping of a sand bed or trench.
The ATLAS shovel handle is made from ash wood butt sections, which contain the best timber. Ash wood is tough, shock-absorbing and strong. The ash wood is re-dried in a computer-controlled climate chamber. As a result the handle does not shrink, tools remain firmly fixed to the handle, and the through-mount T-grip can be pressed onto the handle without glue or staples.
ATLAS handles are bent in boiling water. This causes the wood grain in the handle to bend along with it and prevents the grain from running out of the handle. The bending process makes the handle extremely strong. In addition the ATLAS handle is waxed with vegetable Carnauba, which ensures a longer lifespan and a comfortable, smooth handle that helps prevent blisters.
