Aluminium ballast shovel with wear strip and strong ATLAS metal D-handle
Ballast shovel PROFI aluminium No. 9 with wear strip, German model with blade size 38 x 38 cm, complete with ATLAS ash wood metal D-handle 100 cm long.
The strong aluminium blade has a thickness of approx. 2.5 mm. The steel wear strip at the front protects the blade edge from damage. Thanks to the high upturned rim at the back of the blade, large volumes can be scooped up.
ATLAS metal D-handles are made from ash rootstocks, which contain the best wood. Ash wood is tough, shock-absorbing, and strong. The ash wood undergoes two drying processes. By re-drying, the handle does not shrink and the tool and grip remain firmly fixed to the handle.
Finally, the ATLAS handle is waxed with natural carnauba. This ensures the wood can breathe, does not absorb water or dirt, and retains its beautiful natural color.
