Aluminium ballast shovel with wear strip and strong Atlas metal D-handle
PROFI aluminium ballast shovel no. 9 with wear strip, German model with blade size 38 x 38 cm, complete with Atlas ash wood metal D-handle, length 100 cm.
The strong aluminium blade has a thickness of approx. 2.5 mm. The steel wear strip at the front protects the edge of the blade against damage. Thanks to the high raised edge at the rear of the blade, large volumes can be scooped.
ATLAS metal D-handles are made from ash wood butt logs, which contain the best wood. Ash wood is tough, shock-absorbing, and strong. The ash wood undergoes two drying processes. Because of the final drying, the handle does not shrink and the tool and grip remain firmly attached to the handle.
Finally, the ATLAS handle is waxed with plant-based carnauba. This ensures that the wood can breathe, does not absorb water or dirt, and retains its beautiful natural color.
