Aluminium Ballast Shovel with hardened blade, without wear strip
ATLAS aluminium ballast shovel without wear strip, blade size 23,5 x 29 cm, complete with straight ASH WOOD PD-steel in length 95 cm.
The blade of this ballast shovel is hardened thanks to the extra addition of manganese. This prevents premature wear on the underside and sides of the blade. The steel strip on the front protects the blade and ensures a longer service life. Aluminium ATLAS ballast shovels are strong, lightweight, and very suitable for shoveling large volumes.
The PD-steel is made from ash wood rootstock. Ash wood is tough, shock-absorbing, and strong. The sturdy steel grip is fitted with an ash wood handle and feels comfortable in the hand.
