Round-point spade with Atlas handle for uprooting work and digging planting holes
Round spade SHW with round blade, the blade size at the top is 16.5 cm, complete with ATLAS handle, length 80 cm, fitted with a wide grip. The red-coated blade has a polished edge, a wide step and a socket with double spring. Thanks to the wide step, footwear is not damaged during work.
Because of the rounded shape of the blade, a round-nosed spade is ideal for digging planting holes or for uprooting shrubs and small trees.
The ATLAS handle is made from lower trunk sections of ash, which contain the best wood. Ash wood is tough, shock-absorbing and strong. The ash wood is re-dried in a climate chamber under computer control. As a result the handle does not shrink, tools stay firmly attached to the handle and the through-mount T-grip can be pressed onto the handle without glue or staples. In addition the ATLAS handle is waxed with plant-based carnauba, which provides a longer service life and a pleasant smooth handle, preventing blisters.
