ATLAS spade with epoxy-coated blade and fiberglass T-handle, handle length 78 cm, total length 115 cm. The epoxy coating on the spade blade provides resistance to rust and damage.
The ATLAS plastic T-handle, thanks to the 21 mm thick fiberglass reinforcement, withstands extremely heavy work and is virtually unbreakable. The strong plastic protects the fiber core from damage. Damaged fiberglass contains hundreds of upright fibers; these can cause wounds that may become infected. The handle is not completely rigid, but has a degree of desirable springy resilience. The grip of the handle is covered with natural rubber, providing a secure hold.
Because this handle is so strong (stronger than the blade), no warranty is offered on the mounted blade in case of breakage.
