Digging fork OFFNER 4-tine bronze with step and ATLAS metal D-handle 95 cm

Forged OFFNER Digging Fork with Step and Forged Flat Tines

OFFNER digging fork with 4 flat tines and step in a bronze color, complete with Ash wood ATLAS metal D-handle, length 95 cm. The strong forged tines are equipped with a sharp point and are 1.5 cm wide and 29 cm long. The fork is attached to the handle with a pin and spring ferrule.

Thanks to the step, extra force can be applied with the foot while digging and footwear is not damaged.

A digging fork is used for turning or loosening soil, repotting perennials and shrubs, turning compost heaps, and harvesting potatoes and other tuber crops.

The advantage compared to a spade is that, thanks to the flat tines, there is significantly less chance of roots being damaged or cut. In addition, much less soil and stones stick to it, making the tool lighter.

The ATLAS T-handle with T-grip fits comfortably in the hand. Thanks to the shape of the grip, the user has a good hold when digging and scooping.

The ATLAS handle is made from the lower trunks of ash trees, which contain the best wood. Ash wood is tough, shock-absorbing, and strong. The ash wood has been re-dried so it does not shrink and the tool remains firmly fixed to the handle.
