The steel blade of this ballast shovel is extra hardened and therefore highly wear-resistant. A steel ballast shovel is ideal for moving large volumes and is very suitable for use with gravel, stones, rubble, and construction waste, for example.
The metal D-handle is made from ash wood rootstocks. Ash wood is tough, shock-absorbing, and strong. The sturdy steel grip is fitted with an ash wood handle and feels comfortable in the hand.
