Aluminium Ballast Shovel with thick blade and long Ash Wood Atlas Handle
PROFI aluminium ballast shovel no. 9 with wear strip, German model with blade size 38 x 38 cm, complete with ash wood ATLAS shovel handle length 140 cm.
The strong aluminium blade is approximately 2.5 mm thick. The steel wear strip on the front protects the edge of the blade from damage. Thanks to the high raised edge on the back of the blade, large volumes can be scooped.
ATLAS shovel handles are made from ash wood rootstocks, which contain the best wood. Ash wood is tough, shock-absorbing, and strong. The ash wood undergoes two drying processes. By drying it back, the handle will not shrink and the tool and grip will stay firmly attached to the handle.
Finally, the ATLAS handle is waxed with plant-based Carnauba. This allows the wood to breathe, prevents it from absorbing water or dirt, and helps it retain its beautiful natural color.
