A Golf Rake or Bunker Rake for raking bunkers on a golf course.
Golf Rake or Bunker Rake JOST in black with 16 short tines, levelling strip and handle with hanging eye, width 65 cm, complete with ATLAS handle in length 170 cm and diameter 2.8 cm. The tines have a length of 4 cm.
This Poly Rake is specially made for raking bunkers on a golf course after a bunker shot. After a golfer has hit the ball out of the bunker, the Bunker Rake is used to rake the sand smooth again. Footprints and irregularities from the shot are then no obstacle for the next player. Thanks to the short tines, the sand is not raked unnecessarily deep and the sublayer is not pulled loose. If desired, the levelling strip on the top side can be used for an extra smooth finish.
The JOST Bunker Rake is lightweight and has strong, short tines. The double bracket forms a solid unit with the socket (handle connection). Because the JOST Golf Rake is fully finished in plastic, it is rustproof and therefore has a long service life.
The plastic handle at the end of the handle provides a comfortable grip. Thanks to the hanging eye, the Bunker Rake can be hung up easily.
Because of the shorter tines, the JOST Golf Rake can also be used for turf establishment and maintenance. The shorter tines work only the top layer, keeping the subsoil intact and stable.

Why rake a bunker with the Bunker Rake?
This has to do with golf course etiquette. When a golf ball ends up in a bunker, the surface is disturbed by walking in and by the shot. The next player may suffer unnecessary disadvantage because of this. It is therefore desirable, and often even required, to leave the sand in the bunker neatly after playing a shot. This ensures equal playing chances, prevents time loss for fellow golfers, and shows sportsmanship.
When raking the bunker, enter it from the low side. Marks from shots and walking should be smoothed out with straight strokes. Do not pull the sand toward the edge of the bunker, to prevent erosion there. Work backward toward the low side of the bunker and place the Bunker Rake back on the designated holder after use.
