Manure fork handle or fork handle ATLAS made of ash wood, rectangular model with a length of 95 cm, equipped with a T-grip. Suitable for forks with forged tines. For assembly, two 50 mm rivets are recommended (article number 651620, including assembly advice).
ATLAS fork handles are made from ash wood rootstock, which contains the best wood. Ash wood is tough, shock-absorbing, and strong. The ash wood undergoes two drying processes: during the first drying process, sawn ash wood boards are air-dried. During the second process, the ash wood is computer-controlled redried in a climate chamber. Because of the redrying, the handle does not shrink, so tools stay firmly attached to the handle.
The ATLAS handle is then waxed with plant-based carnauba. This allows the wood to breathe, prevents it from absorbing water or dirt, and preserves its beautiful natural color. Waxing provides a longer lifespan and a pleasantly smooth handle, helping prevent blisters. In addition, plant-based waxing of handles is better for the environment than using varnish or paraffin.
ATLAS manure fork handles are manufactured entirely carbon neutrally in the Netherlands and are available in various lengths and versions.
