ATLAS DIAMANT Cable shovel or digging shovel with sharp edge and round step.
Cable shovel or digging shovel ATLAS DIAMANT with a width of 16 cm, 3/4 bent, equipped with a pointed underside, a round step and non-stick coating. Delivered without handle.
The extra hardened blade is blue lacquered and has a bright polished, sharp edge. Thanks to the step, footwear is not damaged. The non-stick coating makes it easier for soil and sand to release from the blade. The pointed shape of the cable shovel reduces resistance, making digging easy.
Thanks to the narrow shape and the high bent socket, a cable shovel is ideal for digging out trenches. Handy for laying fiber optic cable, irrigation or ground cable. ATLAS DIAMANT cable shovels are popular among, among others, civil engineering and infrastructure companies, pavers, landscapers and in construction.
ATLAS and ATLAS DIAMANT cable shovels are available in various versions, both with and without handle.
Explanation of socket angle
The socket angle indicates the angle relative to the blade. The higher the socket angle, the more slanted the socket. This determines whether a shovel or bats is designed for digging or scooping. The socket angle is measured from the ground to the socket, when the blade lies flat on the ground.
Straight: the handle stands almost straight on the blade
1/4: the socket is bent up 35 mm, for example for digging shovels
1/2: the socket is bent up 55 mm, for example for scoop shovels and concrete shovels
3/4: the socket is bent up 70 mm, for example for scoop shovels and cable shovels
