Narrow Cable Shovel or Trenching Shovel with hardened blade and polished edge.
Cable shovel or trenching shovel ATLAS DIAMANT with a width of 11.5 cm, 3/4 offset, featuring a pointed lower edge and non-stick coating. Supplied without handle.
The extra hardened blade is blue lacquered and has a bare, polished, sharp edge. The non-stick coating makes soil and sand release more easily from the blade. The pointed shape of the Cable Shovel reduces resistance, making shoveling easier.
Thanks to the narrow shape and the high offset socket, a cable shovel is ideal for digging out trenches. Handy for laying fiber optic cable, irrigation, or underground cable. ATLAS DIAMANT Cable Shovels are popular among, among others, civil engineering and infrastructure companies, pavers, landscapers, and in construction.
ATLAS and ATLAS DIAMANT Cable Shovels are available in various versions, both with and without handle.
Explanation of socket position
The socket position indicates the angle relative to the blade. The higher the socket position, the more angled the socket is. This determines whether a shovel or bats is designed for digging or scooping. The socket position is measured from the ground to the socket, when the blade is lying flat on the ground.
Straight: the handle is almost straight on the blade
1/4: the socket is bent up 35 mm, for example for digging shovels
1/2: the socket is bent up 55 mm, for example for scoop shovels and concrete shovels
3/4: the socket is bent up 70 mm, for example with scoop shovels and cable shovels
