ATLAS DIAMANT drainage spade with step and fiber T-handle with natural rubber grip.
Drainage spade ATLAS DIAMANT with a round step and ATLAS T-handle, length 80 cm, fitted with a through-mount T-grip.
This strong forged spade is also called a trench spade or drainagespade. The spade is ideal for digging a narrow trench for, for example, underground cable, irrigation, or drainage. Thanks to the slightly pointed blade, the spade easily penetrates the soil. Because of the length of the blade, the trench can easily be made sufficiently deep so that cables and pipes lie at a safe depth.
This reduces resistance while digging and causes less soil to stick to the blade.
The ATLAS plastic shovel handle is, thanks to the 21 mm thick fiberglass reinforcement, resistant to extremely heavy work and virtually unbreakable. The strong plastic protects the fiber core against damage (damaged fiberglass consists of hundreds of protruding fibers, which can cause wounds that may become infected). The handle is not completely rigid, but has a certain desirable springy resilience. The grip of the shovel handle is covered with natural rubber, which provides a good grip.
Because this handle is so strong (stronger than the blade), no warranty is provided on the mounted blade in the event of breakage.
