Levelling rake for leveling soil, lawns, or a sand bed
Levelling rake or leveler rake ATLAS with a wide, rectangular steel blade fitted with steel ribs, complete with a hardwood handle 150 cm long.
The ATLAS levelling rake has a wide, open steel blade with steel ribs and is used for leveling a lawn or sand bed. It is also easy to use the levelling rake to spread loose soil or soil improvers during landscaping work.
By moving the levelling rake back and forth, the soil or sand is distributed and leveled. In addition to leveling the surface, the levelling rake also breaks up small clods and lumps. Stones, small roots, and other debris are also raked out and can then be removed.
Leveling a lawn with a levelling rake
On an existing lawn, the levelling rake is used to spread soil, sand, compost, or other soil improvers. For example after dethatching, overseeding, and lawn renovation. Thanks to the rake’s wide surface, uneven spots and holes are easily filled in. This makes an existing lawn nice and level again.
For a new lawn, the levelling rake is used to level the soil and remove stones, small roots, and other debris. This creates a nice, level surface for sowing grass seed or laying sod.
Leveling a sand bed with a levelling rake
For paving work, the sand bed can first be leveled with the levelling rake before screeding. The sand bed is then already largely flat. In addition, most stones and other debris are removed from the top layer, so they do not get in the way during screeding.
The ATLAS levelling rake is also used for leveling stabilized base material before it is compacted with a vibrating plate.
