ATLAS bitumen scraper with hardened blade and ATLAS T-handle.
Bitumen scraper or concrete scraper ATLAS with a hardened spring-steel blade 30 cm wide, equipped with a sturdy socket and a reinforced strip. Complete with ash wood ATLAS handle 100 cm long, equipped with a strong through-mount T-grip.
The ATLAS bitumen scraper is used for scraping off and cutting away various materials from different surfaces. Some applications are:
-Removal of bitumen layers and roof coverings
-Removing glue and other adhesives from floors
-Removing cement and concrete residues from floors and walls
-Cleaning of formwork, scaffolding or paving
-Smoothing and leveling surfaces
-Loosening and pushing away caked-on manure or other debris
This bitumen scraper has an ash wood ATLAS T-handle. ATLAS handles are made from ash rootstocks; this contains the best wood. Ash wood is tough, shock-absorbing and strong. The ash wood undergoes two drying processes. Through the re-drying the handle does not shrink, the tool remains firmly fixed to the handle and the through-mount T-grip can be pressed onto the handle without glue or staples.
Finally, the ATLAS handle is waxed with the plant-based Carnauba. This ensures that the wood can breathe, does not absorb water or dirt, and retains its beautiful natural color.
