Handle ATLAS of ash wood, straight model with a length of 100 cm, equipped with a strong through-mount T-grip. This handle fits a bitumen scraper, concrete scraper or formwork scraper in widths 15 cm, 30 cm or 50 cm.
ATLAS bitumen scraper handles are made from ash wood lower trunks, which contain the best wood. Ash wood is tough, shock-resistant and strong. The ash wood undergoes two drying processes: during the first drying process sawn ash wood planks are air-dried. During the second process the ash wood is re-dried in a climate chamber under computer control. By re-drying the tool remains firmly attached to the handle.
Next, the ATLAS handle is waxed with plant-based carnauba wax. This ensures the wood can breathe, does not absorb water or dirt, and retains its beautiful natural color. The waxing extends the lifespan and provides a pleasantly smooth handle, preventing blisters. In addition, waxing handles with a plant-based wax is better for the environment than using varnish or paraffin.
