The ATLAS bitumen scraper is suitable for various surfaces.
Bitumen scraper or Concrete scraper ATLAS with hardened spring steel blade, width 15 cm, provided with a sturdy socket and reinforced strip. Complete with ash wood ATLAS handle, length 100 cm, provided with a strong through-mount T-grip.
The ATLAS bitumen scraper is used for scraping off and cutting away a variety of materials on different surfaces. Some applications are:
-Removal of bitumen layers and roofing
-Removing glue and other adhesives from floors
-Removing cement and concrete residues from floors and walls
-Cleaning of formwork, scaffolding or paving
-Smoothing and leveling of surfaces
-Loosening and pushing aside caked-on manure or other dirt
This bitumen scraper has an ash wood ATLAS T-handle. ATLAS handles are made from ash rootstocks; these contain the best wood. Ash wood is tough, shock-absorbing and strong. The ash wood undergoes two drying processes. Due to the re-drying the handle does not shrink, the tool remains firmly attached to the handle and the through-mount T-grip can be pressed onto the handle without glue or staples.
Finally, the ATLAS handle is waxed with plant-based Carnauba. This ensures that the wood can breathe, does not absorb water or dirt, and retains its beautiful natural color.
