Wide ATLAS bitumen scraper with hardened blade and reinforced socket.
Bitumen scraper or concrete scraper ATLAS with a hardened spring-steel blade 50 cm wide, fitted with a sturdy socket and reinforced strip. Complete with an ash wood ATLAS handle 100 cm long, fitted with a strong through-mount T-grip.
The ATLAS bitumen scraper is used for scraping off and cutting away all kinds of materials from various substrates. Some applications are:
-Removal of bitumen layers and roof coverings
-Removal of glue and other adhesives from floors
-Removal of cement and concrete residues from floors and walls
-Cleaning of formwork, scaffolding or paving
-Smoothing and leveling of surfaces
-Prying loose and scraping away caked-on manure or other soiling
This bitumen scraper has an ash wood ATLAS T-handle. ATLAS handles are made from ash rootstocks; these contain the best wood. Ash wood is tough, shock-absorbing and strong. The ash wood undergoes two drying processes. By re-drying the handle does not shrink, tools remain firmly attached to the handle and the through-mount T-grip can be pressed onto the handle without glue or staples.
Finally, the ATLAS handle is waxed with plant-based Carnauba. This ensures that the wood can breathe, does not absorb water or dirt, and retains its beautiful natural color.
