The ATLAS bitumen scraper is suitable for various surfaces.
Bitumen scraper or concrete scraper ATLAS with hardened spring steel blade, 15 cm wide, equipped with a sturdy socket and reinforced wear strip. Complete with ATLAS ash wood handle, 100 cm long, equipped with a strong through-mount T-grip.
This narrow ATLAS bitumen scraper is used for loosening and scraping off all kinds of materials from various surfaces. A number of applications are:
-Removing bitumen layers and roofing
-Removing glue and other adhesives from floors
-Removing cement residue and concrete residue from floors and walls
-Cleaning formwork, scaffolding or paving
-Leveling and smoothing surfaces
-Loosening and pushing away caked-on manure or other contamination
This bitumen scraper has an ATLAS ash wood T-handle. ATLAS handles are made from ash wood root stock, which contains the best wood. Ash wood is tough, shock-absorbing and strong. The ash wood undergoes two drying processes. The redrying prevents the handle from shrinking, keeps the tool firmly attached to the handle, and allows the through-mount T-grip to be pressed onto the handle without glue or staples.
Finally, the ATLAS handle is waxed with plant-based Carnauba. This allows the wood to breathe, prevents it from absorbing water or dirt, and preserves its beautiful light color.
