Extra wide scoop shovel with rounded front and polished edge
Scoop shovel ATLAS DIAMANT Frankfurter model with socket position 3/4 bent upward, blade size 5, red lacquered version of extra hardened steel, with rounded pointed tip, polished edge and raised back. Supplied without handle.
The Frankfurter shovel is used, among others, by landscapers, in infrastructure, and in civil engineering and water management (GWW). Due to its shape, this shovel is suitable for digging in compact and stony soils. The polished edge allows the shovel to move smoothly through the soil and makes it easy to release the scooped material. Thanks to the raised back, the scooped material stays on the blade well.
Explanation of socket position
The socket position indicates the angle relative to the blade. The higher the socket position, the more angled the socket is. This determines whether a shovel or scoop shovel is designed for digging or scooping. The socket position is measured from the ground to the socket, when the blade lies flat on the ground.
Straight: the handle stands almost straight on the blade
1/4: the socket is bent upward 35 mm, for example for digging shovels
1/2: the socket is bent upward 55 mm, for example for scoop shovels and concrete shovels
3/4: the socket is bent upward 70cm, for example with scoop shovels and deep shovels
