DE WIT Drainage Scoop or Schuimschop with half-round blade and ATLAS handle.
DE WIT forged drainage scoop or schuimschop, half-round blade 9 cm wide and 40 cm long, complete with ATLAS handle 170 cm long and 3.2 cm in diameter.
A drainage scoop is used to level the bottom of a dug trench flat or on a slope, also known as “scoop pulling.” A drainage scoop is used, among other things, when installing drainage, sewer pipes, and irrigation.
The drainage scoop is equipped with a long, strong ATLAS handle. ATLAS handles are made from ash rootstock, which contains the best wood. Ash wood is tough, shock-absorbing, and strong. The ash wood undergoes two drying processes. Because it is redried, the handle does not shrink, keeping the tool firmly attached to the handle.
Finally, the ATLAS handle is waxed with plant-based carnauba. This allows the wood to breathe, does not absorb water or dirt, and retains its attractive natural color.
