DENCKER brush hook with ATLAS Ecofiber handle for clearing shorelines.
Forged DENCKER brush hook or scythe hook for right-handed use (the point faces left). The scythe has a length of 60 cm and is equipped with a straight flat tang. Supplied with a sharp edge and ATLAS Ecofiber handle with a length of 300 cm. Suitable for professional use.
A brush hook has a relatively straight blade, with a slightly bent point. This model scythe is used for cutting and chopping out reeds, grass, and growth on slopes, shorelines, and in the water.
By combining the brush hook with a long pole or ditch hook handle, reeds and other vegetation can be cut far into the water. Long poles and ditch hook handles are available in different lengths.
The DENCKER brush hook is forged from one block of steel and lightly peened, which ensures that the edge is razor-sharp. In addition, it is important to sharpen the edge regularly with a scythe sharpener, whetstone, or peening anvil.
This brush hook is delivered fully assembled with an ATLAS Ecofiber handle. Thanks to the strong Ecofiber and large diameter, this handle is very rigid. As a result, the handle hardly flexes, if at all, when force is applied during use. The large diameter also provides a good grip. In addition, the Ecofiber handle has a comfortably smooth finish, so it feels pleasant in the hand.
