Aluminium Grain Shovel with very strong fiberglass handle and T-handle
ATLAS grain shovel, Swedish model, aluminium, with steel wear strip and straight fiberglass handle, 100 cm long, with T-handle. The strong fiberglass handle consists of a sturdy plastic outer layer, with an extremely strong fiberglass core.
The aluminium blade is extra hardened by the addition of manganese, which prevents premature wear on the underside and sides. In addition, the grain shovel is equipped with a sturdy steel wear strip, resulting in less wear on the front of the blade.
ATLAS grain shovels are very strong, lightweight, and ideal for scooping large, light volumes.
Thanks to the 21 mm thick fiberglass reinforcement, the ATLAS fiberglass handle can withstand extremely heavy-duty work and is virtually unbreakable. The strong plastic protects the fiberglass core from damage (damaged fiberglass consists of hundreds of upright fibers, which can cause wounds that may become infected). The handle is not completely rigid, but has a certain desirable amount of flexibility. The grip of the shovel handle is covered with natural rubber, providing a good grip.
Because this handle is so strong (stronger than the blade), no warranty is provided on the mounted blade in the event of breakage.
