ATLAS handle made of ash wood, rectangular model, 100 cm long, equipped with a strong through-mount T-grip. This handle is suitable for a Bitumen Scraper, Concrete Scraper or Formwork Scraper in widths of 15 cm, 30 cm, or 50 cm.
ATLAS Bitumen Scraper handles are made from ash tree rootstock, which contains the best wood. Ash wood is tough, impact-resistant, and strong. The ash wood undergoes two drying processes: during the first drying process, sawn ash wood planks are air-dried. During the second process, the ash wood is computer-controlled redried in a climate chamber. By redrying, the tool stays firmly attached to the handle.
Next, the ATLAS handle is waxed with plant-based carnauba. This allows the wood to breathe, does not absorb water or dirt, and retains its beautiful light color. The waxing ensures a longer service life and a pleasantly smooth handle, helping prevent blisters. In addition, plant-based waxing of handles is better for the environment than using varnish or paraffin.
