ATLAS manure fork handle or pitchfork handle made of ash wood, rectangular model with a length of 85 cm, equipped with a T-grip. Suitable for forks with forged sockets. For assembly, two 50 mm rivets are recommended (item number 651620, including assembly advice).
ATLAS fork handles are made from ash wood rootstock, which contains the best wood. Ash wood is tough, shock-absorbing, and strong. The ash wood undergoes two drying processes: during the first drying process, sawn ash wood boards are air-dried. During the second process, the ash wood is redried in a climate chamber under computer control. Because of the redrying, the handle does not shrink, and the tool stays firmly fixed to the handle.
The ATLAS handle is then waxed with the plant-based Carnauba. This allows the wood to breathe, does not absorb water or dirt, and retains its beautiful natural color. Waxing provides a longer service life and a pleasantly smooth handle, helping prevent blisters. In addition, plant-based waxing of handles is better for the environment than using varnish or paraffin.
ATLAS manure fork handles are manufactured entirely energy-neutral in the Netherlands and are available in various lengths and designs.
