Digging fork handle or hay fork handle ATLAS made of ash wood, rectangular model with a length of 95 cm. Equipped with a ferrule, a drilled hole and a strong through-mount T-grip. Suitable for forks with a tang connection
ATLAS fork handles are made from ash rootstock, which contains the best wood. Ash wood is tough, shock-absorbing and strong. The ash wood undergoes two drying processes: during the first drying process, sawn ash wood boards are air-dried. During the second process, the ash wood is kiln-dried under computer control in a climate chamber. By drying it back, the handle does not shrink, tools stay firmly attached to the handle, and the through-mount T-grip can be pressed onto the handle without glue or a staple.
Next, the ATLAS handle is waxed with the plant-based Carnauba. This ensures that the wood can breathe, does not absorb water or dirt, and retains its beautiful natural color. The waxing provides a longer lifespan and a pleasant smooth handle, which helps prevent blisters. Moreover, waxing handles with plant-based wax is better for the environment than using varnish or paraffin.
ATLAS digging fork handles are manufactured entirely energy-neutral in the Netherlands.
