Muck fork handle or rake handle ATLAS made of ash wood, bent model with a length of 85 cm, equipped with a ferrule, a drilled hole and a T-grip. Suitable for forks with a tapered socket connection.
ATLAS fork handles are made from ash wood rootstock, which contains the best wood. Ash wood is tough, shock-absorbing and strong. The ash wood undergoes two drying processes: during the first drying process, sawn ash wood boards are air dried. During the second process, the ash wood is computer-controlled dried back in a climate chamber. By drying back, the handle does not shrink, and tools remain firmly attached to the handle.
The ATLAS handle is then waxed with the plant-based Carnauba. This ensures that the wood can breathe, does not absorb water or dirt, and retains its beautiful light color. The waxing provides a longer service life and a pleasantly smooth handle, helping prevent blisters. Moreover, plant-based waxing of handles is better for the environment than using varnish or paraffin.
ATLAS muck fork handles are manufactured entirely carbon-neutrally in the Netherlands and are available in various lengths and versions.
