ATLAS plastic spade handle in yellow, straight D-handle with a length of 79.5 cm, equipped with a fiber core, a plastic grip, and a milled, smooth, narrow point, suitable for a Spear & Jackson spade or Atlas gooseneck spade. This handle has virtually the same length as an original Spear & Jackson spade handle. For assembly, a 40 mm rivet is recommended (article number 651590, including assembly advice).
Thanks to the 21 mm thick fiberglass reinforcement, the ATLAS plastic shovel handle can withstand extremely heavy-duty work and is virtually unbreakable. The strong plastic protects the fiber core from damage (damaged fiberglass contains hundreds of upright fibers, which can cause wounds with inflammation). The handle is not completely rigid, but does have a certain desirable degree of flexibility. The plastic D-handle provides a good grip.
Because this handle is so strong (stronger than the blade), no warranty is given for breakage of the mounted blade.
