ATLAS club hammer handle made of hickory for a 1500-gram club hammer or stoning hammer, with head size 20 x 33,5 mm and length 27 cm. Produced according to DIN 5135 standards and suitable for club hammers or stoning hammers with a DIN 6475 standard.
Due to the oval shape of the handle, the hammer head is always in the correct striking direction. For mounting the handle, a metal hammer wedge no. 4 with article number 651445 is recommended.
Hickory is a heavy and hard American wood species that is even stronger than ash. Hickory wood is exceptionally tough, shock-resistant, and resilient. The ATLAS hickory handle is also waxed with plant-based Carnauba. This allows the wood to breathe, prevents it from absorbing water or dirt, and preserves its beautiful natural color. The waxing ensures a longer service life and a pleasantly smooth handle, helping prevent blisters. Moreover, plant-based waxing of handles is better for the environment than using varnish or paraffin.
ATLAS hickory club hammer handles are manufactured, for the most part, energy-neutral in the Netherlands and are available in various lengths and versions.
