Wide flat tamper made of shock-resistant ash wood, 22 cm wide
Waste tamper or Ground tamper ATLAS made of ash wood, flat model with a width of 22 cm and a length of 130 cm.
This ATLAS tamper is used as a Ground tamper or earth tamper for compacting soil along, for example, pipes, tubes, and concrete edging. For this application, this ATLAS tamper is popular with pavers, fiber optic installers, and in infrastructure work.
The wide ATLAS tamper is also suitable, thanks to its flat shape, for pressing down, compacting, and pushing away waste when it is stuck in an underground container.
This tamper is sometimes also called a bread shovel.
ATLAS tampers are made from ash wood rootstock, which contains the best wood. Ash wood is tough, shock-resistant, and strong. The Ground tamper is also waxed with plant-based Carnauba. This allows the wood to breathe, prevents it from absorbing water or dirt, and helps it retain its beautiful natural color. Waxing provides a longer service life and a pleasantly smooth handle, helping prevent blisters. Moreover, plant-based waxing of handles is better for the environment than using varnish or paraffin.
ATLAS ash wood tampers are manufactured entirely in the Netherlands with energy neutrality.
